We offer a complete selection of sport fishing adventures for both freshwater single-hand and double-hand spey fly-fishing and conventional gear fishing to saltwater salmon & halibut mooching, trolling and jigging. With Nautical West, you can choose from a basic single day trip to multiple day "All Inclusive Lodging and Fishing" expeditions. You have plenty of options when it comes to choosing your fishing preference. We recommend you mix it up and spend a day on the ocean fishing for wild pacific salmon and giant halibut, then spend a day drifting down one of the coastal rivers fly fishing for trophy salmon or steelhead and trout. Sport fishing is just what we do. When we are not fishing, our time is spent preparing for the up-coming season ahead. The amount of preparation that takes place during the off season is gigantic. Our operations involve both ocean fishing and freshwater angling. Maintenance and up keep of our vessels and fishing equipment is high priority. We must do thorough checks of all operating equipment and make sure governing standards are met. Your safety and well being is first priorty when on the waters.

Off season months are spent preparing freshly tied, new and innovative flies, jigs and terminal gear for our guests to use during the prime time seasons. Putting together new leaders for our saltwater and freshwater operations, polishing up the saltwater jigs, filling new line on our reels, waxing the boats for the intense season ahead and so much more...

Now, when all the work is done, we make sure we are out on the water doing our homework for you our guests. Whats a guide if they are not in tune with what is happening on the water.
